Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley has been told she is not allowed to quit

hollywoodnews.com: Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley has been told she is not allowed to quit, according to reports. LA Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel has forbidden Holley – who was said to have resigned last week without explanation – from leaving the Mean Girls actress until she has found a suitable replacement to take over, the New York Post claims.

Lohan recently met with defense attorney Stuart V Goldberg who refused to handle her appeal to overturn her 90-day jail sentence, claiming the actress had ‘her head in the sand’. A source told the Post: “The judge told Holley she can’t quit and leave Lindsay without representation.

“She has to stay on the case until Lindsay has a substitution of attorney filed with the court.” The insider added that Holley no longer wanted to work for Lohan as, the source added: “She won’t take or follow advice. “She is not returning calls and so they haven’t been able to set up meetings with her and a psychologist for her court-ordered psychiatric evaluation.”
