Mel Gibson’s lawyer to meet with L.A. Sheriff’s Department
HollywoodNews.com: Mel Gibson’s lawyer is scheduled to meet with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigators next week.
To date, the “Braveheart” director has not been interviewed by the cops.
RadarOnline broke the news.
Gibson is being probed for domestic violence charges, having hit g.f. Oksana Grigorieva while she was holding their eight-month-old daughter, Lucia.
Grigorieva filed a complaint on July 5.
“There is a lot more to this investigation that Mel’s lawyer will be giving to law enforcement,” the source tells RadarOnline.
It’s unknown what that evidence exactly is.
A law enforcement source also tells RadarOnline.com: “This investigation is proceeding very quickly. It could be handed over to the D.A.’s office by the end of the month.”
At that time, the D.A. will decide whether there’s enough information to mount a case against Gibson.
