Lindsay Lohan finally lands new lawyer, Robert Shapiro

HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan can finally stop the lawyer hunting. After her former lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, announced that she was quitting, Lindsay has been interviewing new candidates to continue to represent her in court.

Finally, she has found one who is willing to accept her offer. Famed lawyer Robert Shapiro will represent her, but he doesn’t plan on appealing her 90-day jail sentence, reports TMZ. Shapiro was part of the team that “successfully repped O.J. Simpson” and sources say that he is going to try to convince Judge Marsha Revel to send Lindsay straight to rehab rather than going to jail.

They also report that his plan is to send her to a live-in rehab facility where he will be involved. His son died of a drug overdose in 2005, and since then has been very active in helping people deal with their drug and alcohol problems.

Shapiro just might be the miracle that Lindsay desperately needs.
