Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis deliver laughs in “Due Date” teaser

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Congratulations to Todd Phillips’ upcoming comedy, “Due Date,” which birthed a teaser trailer this afternoon. The trailer is happy and healthy, and everyone is doing fine.

Seriously, the comedy stars Robert Downey Jr. as an expectant father who needs the help of Zach Galifianakis if he hopes to get home to Atlanta before his soon-to-arrive baby is born.

By the looks of the trailer, posted here, “Due Date” looks like “Road Trip” meets “The Hangover,” both of which Phillips directed. Of course, there’s a nice mixture of “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” in there. Just how much remains to be seen.

“Due Date” arrives in theaters on Nov. 5.
