Sarah Palin on news of daughter’s engagement
HollywoodNews.com: Sarah Palin has responded to her daughter’s shocking engagement – without saying whether she approves or not.
Bristol Palin, 19, revealed that she is engaged again with Levi Johnston, 20, by posing on the cover of a U.S. magazine rather than telling their parents. Now Sarah has responded, admiring her daughter’s strength in forgiving Levi for dumping her and then bad mouthing the family; but without actually saying she supports the engagement.
“Bristol at 19 is now a young adult,” Palin said in a joint statement with her husband Todd. “We obviously want what’s best for our children. “Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put into practice in our daily lives.”
