‘Batman 3’ to lense in April 2011
HollywoodNews.com: Michael Caine has spilled the beans: the third installment in the revamped Christopher Nolan “Batman” series will begin production in April.
The actor recently revealed this tidbit to Digital Spy at the London premiere of “Inception.”
Nolan, his brother Jonathan and David S. Goyer are still toiling away on the script. Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman are attached.
EW.com reports, “So far, Nolan himself has been reluctant to talk about the future of the caped crusader. Apparently he’s very much of the mindset that, until his current film, the critically-adored ‘Inception’ opens this Friday, he’s not interested in discussing details of his future projects.”
Warner Bros. has pegged a July 20, 2012 release for the third “Batman.”
A rumor on the blogsphere has been that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would play the Riddler in the latest feature.
