Sir Bob Geldof, founder of ‘Live Aid’ to have film made about his “journey” organizing the festival

HollywoodNews.com: Sir Bob Geldof is to have a film made about his journey to put Live Aid together.

Geldof, 58, will be portrayed by Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson, 27, in the new TV film called When Harvey Met Bob.

It will feature Geldof’s work with promoter Harvey Goldsmith ahead of the gig, which took place 25 years ago. Ian Hart, 45, will play the part of Goldsmith.

Producer Kate Triggs said: “It’s a moving film about two men prepared to think the unthinkable and achieve the seemingly impossible.” The film is currently being shot in Ireland and will be shown on BBC2 later this year.
