Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher face a weighty issue

By Dr. Bradley Frederick

HollywoodNews.com: The Master Cleanse, a weight-loss/detox diet consisting of maple syrup, lemon juice, water and cayenne pepper, has been around for quite some time. Some people say it dates all the way back to the 1940’s. With the promise of dropping ten pounds in ten days, it has been a standard red carpet practice for years. It broke news on the national scene when Beyonce used it to trim down for her role in Dreamgirls. It caused a national debate when it was purported that the already arguably too thin Angelina Jolie went on it for her role as CIA-agent-or-perhaps-Russian-spy Salt.

Well, it is making news again today as husband and wife, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are taking to their Twitters to tell their experiences a few days into the detox with Ashton tweeting , “9 hrs into the master cleanse. I want a steak, a beer, and a blow-pop. Hmmm this is gonna be rough.” Seems the Mrs. Kutcher is having an easier time of it than her hubby, although not by much as she announced will “let you know if I make to day 4.”

Let’s make it easier. Ashton, Demi, listen up. Adding two to four hard boiled eggs per day to your diet will give you the protein and vitamins you need, your metabolism will stay higher, you’ll maintain more muscle mass which will help you lose more fat and weight and keep it off. And obviously, it will give you the strength you’ll need to keep tweeting us in the difficult blow-pop deprived days ahead.
