Leonardo DiCaprio travels to Nepal for “Save the Tigers Campaign”

HollywoodNews.com: Leonardo DiCaprio has made a secret visit to Nepal as part of his work with the World Wildlife Fund’s Save the Tigers Campaign.

The “Titanic” star’s three day-visit to the country included travelling to the Bardiya National Park to meet with conservation officials. The area is one the four designated tiger reserves in the mountainous country.

The campaign is aiming to raise $20 million with the goal of doubling the international tiger population, which currently sits at just 3,200 the Indian Express reports.

The actor is currently promoting his new thriller “Inception” that co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard.
