‘Jersey Shore’ cast forces a work stoppage

HollywoodNews.com: The cast of “Jersey Shore” is unhappy with their contract arrangements and are refusing to shoot scenes for the third season until they receive a better deal.

A source from the TV show has revealed this intel to TMZ.

Despite talk that there was suppose to be a new cast for the third season, JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, PaulyD and Vinny refused to get in front of the camera for additional scenes at their respective homes today. Cast members are spread out between New York and Rhode Island.

Word is that Snooki and The Situation will follow suit.

Overall, the cast feels that they can mint more dough from personal appearances in two months than filming the show.

A rep for MTV had no comment.
