The Beatles’ Norwegian Wood to be used
hollywoodnews.com: The Beatles’ track Norwegian Wood will appear in the film adaptation of Japanese author Haruki Murakami’s novel of the same name.
In a rare movie deal, producers of film, which takes its name from the song, persuaded Apple Records and Sony Music to allow them to use the track as the closing theme.
The Beatles’ original music has only rarely appeared in films and only once before in a Japanese production. Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, who won a Grammy for his soundtrack to the Oscar-winning There Will Be Blood, will score the rest of the movie.
