‘Jersey Shore’ producers ready to cut the cord on the cast

HollywoodNews.com: The cast of “Jersey Shore” is unhappy with their contract arrangements and have refused to shoot scenes for the third season until they receive a better deal. However, producers of the show are fed up with their demands and are ready to cut the cast loose.

According to sources with 495 Productions, the cast is “ultimately hurting the show,” reports TMZ. The source added, “The show is not about famous rich people with managers coming to the Shore.”

Apparently the company would like to keep around The Situation, Snooki, and Pauly D, but the strike by the whole cast is their “last straw.” However, MTV believes that they have “magic in a bottle,” and don’t want to break up the cast.
