Kate Gosselin’s kids get work permits
HollywoodNews.com: Kate Gosselin will be able to keep putting her kids to work thanks to the Pennsylvania labor department.
The Department of Labor & Industry has reported that the children are not being unlawfully exploited through the show Kate Plus 8 and are being given work permits, states Access Hollywood. There is a law in Pennsylvania that states that children under seven can work in movies, but not television – the Gosselin sextuplets are six years old.
However, the permits are apparently protecting the children from working too many hours and will ensure that they receive earnings from the show.
