Miley Cyrus lost out on ‘Ramona’ role

HollywoodNews.com: Miley Cyrus almost had the chance to be a part of the ‘Ramona and Beezus’ film, but money got in the way.

Studio exec Thomas Rothman had his eyes on Miley Cyrus to play Beezus when her star power seemed high enough to almost ensure success of the film, reports modOration. Unfortunately, Cyrus’ camp was asking for $5 million which led to negotiations falling apart.

Luckily for the film, Selena Gomez came along just as her fame began to take off and was chosen for the role of Beezus.
