Yet another “Thor” photo makes its way to the Web

By Sean O’Connell We have had so many “Thor” updates over the last few days, you’d think Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of Marvel Comics’ Norse God adventures was opening this Friday.

It’s not. We have to wait all the way until May 6, 2011 to see what Branagh and crew officially have up their sleeve. But on the eve of Comic-Con, yet another photo has made its way to the Internet, this time courtesy of USA Today.

The photo appears to show Chris Hemsworth, as Thor, in our reality. He’s dressed in plain clothes and looks to be pulling his mighty hammer from a mound of mud. But this is in stark contrast to the image that ran in the L.A. Times last weekend, which gave fans a glimpse of Odin’s throne room in the mythological world of Asgard.

Next? We want to see footage. And those attending Comic-Con in San Diego might get the chance. Then the rest of us just have to pray that pirated, cell-phone-recorded clips make their way to the Web … and that they look good!
