Angelina Jolie says ‘Salt’ is “a better action movie”
HollywoodNews.com: Appearing at San Diego’s Comic-Con to promote her new thriller ‘Salt,’ Angelina Jolie has raved about her experience shooting the action-packed movie.
“I got to play with just about everything, including using a fire extinguisher in a way I’d never used it,” she said.
The Oscar-winner plays a CIA agent falsely accused of being a Russian operative in the film, a role that was initially going to go to Tom Cruise.
Despite having stared in ‘Tomb Raider’ and ‘Wanted,’ the actress said her new film was: “a better action movie.”
The “style got meaner and harder and darker… it wasn’t as pretty,” the 35-year-old explained, Us magazine reports.
It had been rumoured that Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt might put in an appearance at the pop culture convention to promote his children’s movie ‘Megamind,’ but the actor is said to be shooting a new movie in LA.
