Scarlett Johansson will suspend herself in 3D sci-fi film ‘Gravity’

HollywoodNews.com: Scarlett Johansson is slated to star alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the 3D sci-fi film “Gravity.”

The “Iron Man 2” actress will play the sole survivor of a failed space mission in a feature being directed by Alfonso Cuarón. Johansson’s character will attempt to make her way back to Earth after her mission goes awry.

The New York Daily News broke the story.

Angelina Jolie is believed to have been linked to the role early on in its development.

A Daily News source exclaims that Johansson has “verbally agreed” to the project and that it will be “the most ambitious film, technology-wise, since ‘Avatar.’”
