Amanda Bynes back from her month-long acting retirement
HollywoodNews.com: “I’ve unretired.”
This is the recent proclamation by Amanda Bynes, 24, on her Tweeter after she announced she was retiring from acting a month ago.
She then plugged her upcoming fall comedy “Easy A” unspooling on September 17 in theaters.
US Magazine caught the Tweet.
A few weeks ago, Bynes whined: “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it.
“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.
“I’ve never written the movies and TV shows I’ve been a part of. I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”
Soon after Bynes made the statement, her publicist promptly countered it.
