Tom Felton Chats About Harry Potter, Growing Up Onscreen, and Planet of the Apes

By Hanako M. Ricks

HollywoodNews.com: A new interview with Harry Potter’s Tom Felton has surfaced on the web, which was conducted in the midst of the hoopla that was Comic Con weekend. In the interview, Felton jokes about how he and co-star Daniel Radcliffe can’t stand to watch the first few Harry Potter movies, saying “I think it’s fair to say we were fairly horrific actors, I mean, Daniel and I, we cringe, I mean…we can’t watch those earlier ones”, but also admitting that as fairly new actors, they did the best they could at the time.

Felton also speaks of his other film projects: the film “The Apparition,” in which he co-stars with Ashley Greene of Twilight fame; and newly-cast role in Caesar: Rise of the Apes, which is a prequel in the long-running Planet of the Apes franchise. He plays Dodge, a character who is – by his own admission – “not the nicest of guys”. Felton revealed that he began production on the film just this past Friday, so I’m sure we’ll hear more about that in the months to come.
