Jennifer Grey to play mother with difficult choice on House

HollywoodNews.com: Dirty Dancing‘s Jennifer Grey is slated for a guest role on ‘House,’ sources have confirmed.

The 50-year-old actress will play a character named Abbey, the mother of a baby girl with signs of a life-threatening illness, says Entertainment Weekly. In the episode, the team of diagnosticians attempt to unravel the mystery of the baby’s symptoms, but Abbey is faced with a big decision about her daughter’s treatment.

Grey found fame in the 1980s with roles in a number of iconic movies including ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ and ‘Red Dawn.’

Her most prominent role was as ‘Baby’ Houseman in 1987′s ‘Dirty Dancing,’ alongside Patrick Swayze. The ‘House’ episode is slated to air in October.
