Julia Roberts resumes love for acting: “I normally don’t work this hard anymore”
HollywoodNews.com: Taking on the lead role in ‘Eat Pray Love’ saw Julia Roberts travel around the world with her young family, a journey that her kids took in their stride, the Hollywood star says.
“I think time will tell what the children think about it,” she admitted of kids’ globetrotting adventure.
“They were just having the experience that was presented to them at every turn. They never got sick, thankfully, and it was fundamental for me to be able to maintain the integrity of my life and work at the same time,” the 42-year-old explained.
Robert and her husband, cameraman Danny Moder, are parents to twins daughter Hazel and son Phinnaeus. Son Henry Daniel Moder arrived in 2007. On the challenge of carrying a movie for the first time in a decade the Oscar-winner joked: “I never really hitched my wagon to something of this magnitude – it’s either gonna sing or we’re all gonna die in a fiery burst of flames,” Entertainment Tonight reports.
The actress expressed her gratitude for having the chance to take on the role of writer Elizabeth Gilbert, confessing: “I don’t usually work this hard anymore. “This was a huge workload and really made me very clear about the joy that I possess for doing it.”
