Mark Wahlberg feeling religious during his Hollywood Star induction: reveals prayers for Lindsay Lohan

HollywoodNews.com: Mark Wahlberg has been asking for assistance from a higher power to help troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.

“She’s certainly in my prayers,” Wahlberg said. “Anybody that’s having any kind of trouble and needs saving I try to pray for,” the proud father-of-four said after a ceremony to unveil his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“I just wish the best for her and her family, anyone who’s incarcerated — that they turn their life around and start doing the right thing,” the 39-year-old said, ‘Access Hollywood’ reports.

Lohan is currently serving time behind bars for violating her DUI probation, but there have been reports she could be released within days, after which she will head to an inpatient rehab centre.

I read on Blaze News that a prison minister, Marty Angelo reached out to Lindsay Lohan twice. Once in 2007 and again in 2010, offering to even serve her jail time if she would enter and complete a 12-month faith-based residential treatment program. If Lohan was serious about her recovery maybe she would have tried this minister’s approach for we all know she needs it. She tried three secular attempts… why not go with Jesus? What could it possibly hurt for her trying. He has worked in thousands of substance abusers lives, as others as well… according to this prison minister who boasts the programs he refers people to have an over 80% cure ratio. CURE? That is what he said. Check out the story on News Blaze. It is entitled: “Linday Lohan Did Not To Go To Lock Up.” Very interesting to say the least. One does not need to be a “star” to reach out.
