The Potter Puppet Pals Return

HollywoodNews.com: Before StarKid Potter and the “Very Potter Musicals” became a YouTube sensation, there were four little words: “Snape, Snape, Severus Snape…”

Sing those four words in a room full of die-hard Harry Potter fans, and I guarantee that most – if not all – will burst into song with you. It’s the first few words of “The Mysterious Ticking Noise“, the first video that turned Neil Cicierega’s Potter Puppet Pals into a household name among Harry Potter fans. The video went viral, with over 84 million (yes, I said 84 million) views to date, and spawned several other popular videos on Cicierega’s YouTube page, including “Wizard Swears”, “Ron’s Disease”, and the ever-so-popular “Snape’s Diary”.

A few days ago, this video was posted on the YouTube page, announcing the return of the Potter Puppet Pals after a year-long absence, including a separate page for Potter Puppet Pals:

The new page has three videos: “Harry Potter Personally Welcomes You. Yes, you” (where Harry asks if you want to date him before welcoming you to his new YouTube page); “Ron’s Parents“, where Ron writes a letter to ‘Mr and Mrs My Parents’ while a jealous Harry pitches a fit; and “Mustache Buddies“, which shows Voldemort using peer pressure to try to convince Snape to grow a mustache.

If these new videos are any indication, the year away hasn’t changed a thing, and the PPPs will continue to bring us good, puppetry fun. You can find out more information about the PPPs on the official website.
