Rachel Weisz might take a dip in ‘Deep Blue Sea’
HollywoodNews.com: Rachel Weisz is in negotiations to join Terence Davies’ feature adaptation of the 1952 play “The Deep Blue Sea.”
Weisz would play a woman who becomes sexually enslaved by an alcoholic ex-fighter and leaves her dutiful husband.
Vulture was following the headlines.
Weisz’ next film to be released is the independent drama “The Whistleblower,” starring alongside Monica Bellucci and Vanessa Redgrave. In 2006, Weisz won a best supporting actress Oscar for her turn in “The Constant Gardener.”
Davies is known for the 2000 period film “The House of Mirth” which starred Gillian Anderson.
