Lindsay Lohan leaves prison Monday morning, heads to rehab

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Lindsay Lohan has moved from one containment facility to another, as the troubled starlet left prison early Monday morning and went straight to rehab.

Lohan left the Century Regional Detention Facility at 1:35 a.m. Monday, having served 14 days of a 90-day sentence, according to the NY Daily News.

“She was picked up by court order by a designated driver,” sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told the Daily News. “We had to comply with the wishes of the court, and safety and security were the paramount concerns. It wasn’t special treatment.”

Whitmore said Lohan’s next stop would be a drug treatment center, where she will remain under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department.

Lohan will not be heading to the Morningside Recovery in Orange County, as was previously reported. The Daily News has discovered that Judge Marsha Revel changed Lohan’s rehab center “to one in west Los Angeles over fears outsiders might be able to slip banned substances to the actress.”
