New Season of “The Simpsons” to Include Daniel Radcliffe in Twilight Spoof

HollywoodNews.com: Last fall, FOX confirmed that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe would appear in one of the episodes of the 22nd season of “The Simpsons”. New details have emerged regarding Radcliffe’s role, which will probably air sometime around Halloween (air dates for some new episodes have not been announced yet).

In the episode titled “Treehouse of Horror XXI”, Lisa Simpson will fall in love Twilight-style with Dracula’s son, who will be voiced by Radcliffe. The tale is part of a multi-story episode; British actor and “House, M.D.” star Hugh Laurie will also appear in the episode.

The Simpsons began its decades-long run on the air in 1989; the show has the distinction of being the longest-running sitcom, the longest-running animated program, and the longest-running primetime entertainment series in American history. Season 22 kicks on September 26 on FOX.
