Mickey Rourke’s face to be put on display for non alcoholic beer

HollywoodNews.com: ‘The Expendables’ star Mickey Rourke is to become the new face of an alcohol-free beer, according to reports.

The former hard-drinking actor, 57, who is starring in the new action flick opposite movie legends Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone, will be seen in ads drinking the new Wit beer without realizing that it contains no alcohol.

The booze-free beer is being made by Dutch brewers Bavaria, which is hoping the new campaign will give the drink a “cool” image and beat rival Beck’s Blue beer as the top non-alcoholic drink.

According to UK newspaper, the Daily Mirror, the trade mag The Grocer reported: “They’re humorous ads and great fun.”

The new ads are due to be screened later this month.
