Patricia Clarkson joining Hathaway and Sturgess in “One Day”

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Lone Scherfig’s “One Day” is recruiting one fine cast.

The director’s follow-up to her Oscar-nominated “An Education” already has Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in the leads, playing star-crossed lovers Dexter and Emma, who reunite on the same day over the course of several years. Now word arrives that Patricia Clarkson is joining the ensemble, courtesy of The Playlist.

No word on who Clarkson will play, though comments on the film’s Facebook page suspect she’ll play Dexter’s mother.

“One Day” currently is shooting in London, Scotland and France. Scherfig is targeting a late 2011 release.
