Tonight’s “The Expendables” premiere to be telecast live on the Internet

By Sean O’Connell Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and the cast of “The Expendables” will be walking the red carpet in Los Angeles tonight beginning at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. And if you are near a computer, you can watch them live.

That’s because Lionsgate has announced that Ustream will beam the premiere of Stallone’s “Expendables” to the Internet … for free. To access the live stream, click here.

In “The Expendables,” Stallone and crew play life-long mercenaries hired for a job that goes horribly awry. The film is a who’s who of action stars both old and new, as Stallone (who directs) shares the screen with Jason Statham, Let Li, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke and Eric Roberts. There are also two celebrated cameos, though trailers revealed their presence (if you’ve seen them).

“The Expendables” opens Friday, Aug. 13. But if you are around tonight, click on Ustream and enjoy the red-carpet fun.
