BC Jean, Beyonce’s ghost writer, finally gets a smash single

By Roger Friedman

HollywoodNews.com: Eons ago I broke the story that Beyonce’s hit song, “If I Were A Boy,” was written by a ghost writer.

BC Jean, now 21, wrote the song with a producer friend. Then the producer sold the song to Beyonce behind Jean’s back. There was a scuffle over credits. BC Jean wound up getting $250,000 and a recording contract with RCA/J Records. Beyonce got to pretend she had something to do with writing the song.

Now at last comes BC Jean’s first single and it’s a smash. The song is called “Just a Guy.” It’s full of hooks. Thanks to the good work of Clive Davis protege Larry Jackson. This guy knows what he’s doing.

Beyoncé never had to pretend she wrote this song…it’s clearly stated that BC Jean wrote the song…Come on…

How exactly was she a ghost writer when her name is clearly listed in the credits?

How can a person be seen as a ghost writer for an artist that isn’t even listed as a writer. The credit went to Toby and BC, Beyonce isn’t even listed nor have she ever claim to have written the song. Try again…

Do you know the definition of a ghost writer ?
BC is listed as a writer on that song. But you’re obviously too blinded by hate to notice.

Like others have said, how is she a ghost writer when the credits clearly say BC Jean? And Toby Gad is the only other listed writer. I swear, what people do to just hate on Beyonce….

This is funny. The writer was just trying to throw a few clever remarks in there, and tried to sound witty, but ended up flopping himself.

Beyonce claimed she wrote the song and was even listed but last minute they removed Beyonce from the credits because it went public!!! bey always tries to make everyone believe she wrote all the songs. matter of fact, she didnt even write one song on I AM… but has credits on every song.

THESE PEOPLE WORK VERY HARD AT WRITING MATERIAL I DARE SOMEONE LIKE BEYONCE TO COME SAY SHE WROTE IT WHEN SHE CANT EVEN SPEAK CORRECT ENGLISH.
