Neil Patrick Harris praises Vanessa Hudgens in ‘Rent’
HollywoodNews.com: Vanessa Hudgens is returning to her musical roots for a short time and it appears to be the right decision, according to her director.
Neil Patrick Harris is directing a production of Rent that will take place at the Hollywood Bowl and he couldn’t be more pleased with his choice of who will play Mimi Marquez, reports DailyFill. “When you’re thinking of small lists of people who can play roles and you look at Mimi Marquez…Vanessa is like at the top of the list,” Harris said of the actress who said that he has “an amazing spirit.”
The production will only take place August 6-8 and also stars Nicole Scherzinger and Wayne Brady.
