Emily Blunt overcame a stutter, struggles to say her name Actress Emily Blunt may be on her way to a very successful career, but the road hasn’t always been easy and she still deals with the struggle of overcoming a stutter.

The recently married Blunt reveals that she developed a stutter at the age of seven, which made her feel like “there was an impostor living inside of [her],” reports ShowbizSpy.

And even though Blunt has succeeded in managing her stutter, there are still moments when she faces the struggle once more: “It’s very common for stutterers to not be able to say their own name, and when someone asks who’s calling, I’ll be like ‘F**k!’ ”
