Lady Gaga plans feature film-making debut

HollywoodNews.com: Lady Gaga is arguably the biggest musical artist du jour, but she isn’t stopping there. Next on Gaga’s path world domination is, reportedly, a move to the big screen.

According to MTV, Gaga is currently developing a film cross between Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalker” and the Beyonce-starring “Dreamgirls” adaptation, and “X-Men” director Bryan Singer is interested in the project.

“Gaga is a real creative genius and is thinking about new possibilities all the time,” says a source. “She’s very excited about a movie, but she wants to do it right. She wants to work with the best people in the business…Straight music is never going to be enough for her. If she isn’t breaking new ground and doing new things she doesn’t really feel that she is truly alive. The Telephone video was the closest thing she has done to a film and she was in her element.”
