“Avengers” going before cameras in February

Hollywoodnews.com: The “Avengers” cast reportedly will assemble in February.

SuperheroHype says Joss Whedon’s all-star cast will begin filming “The Avengers” in February for a May 4, 2012 release. The massive role call involves Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and newcomer Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk). Supporting heroes include Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow).

The site claims “The Avengers” will film in Los Angeles.
