‘Glee’ headed to Broadway stage

HollywoodNews.com: After much speculation by fans as to whether or not ‘Glee’ would become a Broadway show, the show’s creator Ryan Murphy has settled the debate.

Murphy has revealed to ‘New York Daily News’ that a development deal has been signed and the Fox hit will be headed to Broadway, reports Hollyscoop. The deal he signed is worth about $24 million and will also make him executive music producer of Glee.

With his new role, Murphy will be receiving a portion of the profits from the show’s TV soundtracks and episode sales, as well as any merchandise sold and live tour profits.

Glee has already been picked up for two more seasons.
