Ryan Reynolds in a studio tug-of-war over ‘Green Lantern’ vs. ‘Deadpool’?

HollywoodNews.com: Robert Liefeld, the creator of Marvel comic book “Deadpool” is hinting that Ryan Reynolds may not come aboard the Robert Rodriguez-helmed film.

It simply boils down to Reynolds’ commitment to the DC comic book feature franchise “Green Lantern.” In that film, he plays hero Hal Jordan.

Liefeld tweeted: “Warner Bros just trying to protect their investment. They don’t want Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool AND Green Lantern. Interesting 2 watch. Bottom line about Deadpool film is that if FOX doesn’t pull the DP film together with Ryan Reynolds between GL films-they should Hari Kari.”

Liefeld believes that Warner Bros. wants to disrupt “Deadpool.” However, he also says “Hopefully cool heads prevail and are reminded of Harrison Ford and how he played Indiana Jones and Han Solo simultaneously.”

Reynolds played Deadpool in Fox’s summer hit last year “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” which made $373 million worldwide.
