PR veteran subpoenaed in Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva case
HollywoodNews.com: Another person is facing giving a deposition in the Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva matter and this time it’s the PR veteran who represented Grigorieva for some time, Steve Jaffe.
Oksana’s former publicist is being subpoenaed in hopes of information being revealed as to what Mel’s former girlfriend said about their relationship, reports TMZ. It is alleged that Oksana had many conversations with Jaffe about the leaked tapes and extortion rumors. Now, Mel’s team wants to use his knowledge to clear up any inconsistencies.
However, it’s believed that Oksana’s team will be objecting to much of the questioning as they are going to argue that those conversations are protected by the “work product privilege” – which is part of attorney-client privilege – as her lawyers hired Jaffe for her.
