Ke$ha is so ready to tour on her own

HollywoodNews.com: Hit pop ingénue Ke$ha is ready.

She wants to stop opening for headliners and go on her own tour later this year.

To date, she has been playing in Rihanna’s “Last Girl on Earth” tour this month.

“I’m finishing up this tour and going in to start writing again – some more music for you guys – and will continue touring throughout the rest of the year,” Ke$ha tells MTV News.

“I don’t know who’s going to go on tour with me yet, but I think I’ll be going on my tour later this year perhaps.

“I will definitely be playing some shows and, really, I’m just working on developing my live show. It’s all I think about. I have dreams and then nightmares about my live show. I want to make it so good, like the best show ever.

Ke$ha’s debut album “Animal” has sold 1 million worldwide with 800,000 copies coming from U.S. sales. She is also a top draw online with 50% of her album sales stemming from digital downloads.

Ke$ha has cited Beck, Queen, Madonna, Johnny Cash, Aaron Neville, Bob Dylan, Beastie Boys, The Damned, Velvet Underground and Talking Heads as musical influences
