‘The Gulf is Back’ tribute hosted by David Hasselhoff

HollywoodNews.com: A tribute concert, ‘The Gulf is Back,’ honoring the residents of the Gulf Coast will include special musical performances and real-life stories of those who have braved the area and will be aired on the CW Network.

The one-hour special will be hosted by David Hasselhoff as viewers will also get to see musical performances that occurred over two days during free concerts. The musical guests include Lonestar, Taylor Hickes, Drake Bell and Brian McKnight.

Celebrities such as Shannon Elizabeth will appear as real-life stories of the heroic actions taken by everyday people to overcome problems caused by the devastating oil spill are told.

The Gulf is Back will air on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 8:00pm ET.

    Excellent show – Morgan Freeman was on it too – great addition. It does seem things are back to normal now – I’ll definitely check out visiting there.
