Betty White writing books about life lessons, sex and animals
HollywoodNews.com: Betty White is a busy lady these days. The “Golden Girls” star is already going to be launching her own clothing line, pinup calendar, and has already landed a guest role on “Community” in addition to receiving an Emmy nomination. Now the current “Hot in Cleveland” star is going to pen two books in which she’ll tackle a variety of subjects that White is all too familiar with.
The 88-year old actress will write two books for publisher G.P. Putnam’s Sons, according to US Magazine. The first one will be due out in Spring 2011 entitled, “Listen Up!” and will be about life lessons in which “White dispenses her wisdom and wit on TV, getting older, sex, Hollywood and her instantly classic ‘Saturday Night Live’ stint this past May.”
The second book will tackle animals and will be titled “The Zoo and I: Betty and Her Friends.” In the book she will be sharing “stories and photographs documenting the lives of her ‘animal friends’ at the Los Angeles Zoo.”
