Eminem’s ‘Recovery’ goes double platinum
HollywoodNews.com: Eminem’s “Recovery” has already made a mark on the music industry, not only for his triumphant statement that in fact Slim Shady is back, but for it’s chart topping success that it has had.
He is back on top at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart, selling 133,000 copies, according to Entertainment Weekly. To this day, “Recovery” has sold a whopping 2.1 million copies and places just behind Lady Antebellum who has sold 2.5 million copies of “Need You Now.
In addition, the album has just reached double-platinum, making him the only artist this year to do so.
It looks like Eminem is back and ready to stay this time.
