‘Glee’ couldn’t get Kings of Leon music

HollywoodNews.com: The Grammy-winning Kings of Leon are apparently not interested in having their music appear on ‘Glee’ or even in movies, no matter who asks.
Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill has reportedly revealed that the group turned down ‘Glee’ when asked for their hits to appear on the FOX program, states PopEater. The band’s vocalist, Caleb Followill, admits that he’s never seen the show, but has heard that people really love it.
Kings of Leon apparently feels that moving in that direction would be somewhat like selling out, which led them to also turn down having their hit “Use Somebody” in a film. They were reportedly asked and when they said no, those involved in the film wanted to get the actor on the phone with them as he is “incredibly famous,” but the band didn’t even want to bother with it.
They’ve even shot down chances to appear on TV as Ugly Betty offered them a chance to play themselves, but again, they weren’t interested.
