Michael Lohan changes opinion on Lindsay’s rehab sentence

By Molly Sullivan

HollywoodNews.com: While Michael Lohan has been incredibly vocal about how much he believes his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, should be spending time in rehab, he is now changing his mind and thinks she needs to get out of UCLA Medical Center now.

Michael Lohan reportedly feels that UCLA Medical Center can’t offer her the treatment that she needs, as he believes that the doctors mistakenly thought the actress was bipolar and addicted to meth, reports Hollyscoop. He also thinks that the center has not offered Lindsay any form of therapy which is needed for her to fully recover.

Lindsay’s father is also commenting on the fact that she is allowed to talk with her Inferno director Matthew Wilder, who Michael believes is trying to exploit his daughter. He doesn’t feel like the rehab facility should allow Lindsay to focus on her career instead of herself and healing.

Now, instead of pushing rehab on the young actress, Michael wants her to attend family therapy “to resolve the issues that caused her problems.”
