Sly Stallone wants Bruce Willis for next “Expendables” villain

By Sean O’Connell

Hollywoodnews.com: Will Bruce Willis play the villain in an “Expendables” sequel?

That’s the idea director and star Sylvester Stallone floated out there while talking to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM.

“If you’re on a winner you just stay with it. It would be great to get the guys back, and maybe get some of the other guys who weren’t in it — like Van Damme and whatever — to be in it,” Stallone said, according to Moviehole. “And then bring in some young bloods, and have Bruce Willis as the villain. I said ‘Bruce, chasing you for two hours? That would be great! I can get behind that.”

So could I. Willis so rarely plays downright evil guys, but that smirk of his always suggests that even his purest heroes are one step away from crossing the line and blowing a hole in your chest. I’d also rather see Willis vamping it up alongside Sly and his brawny comrades then beating John McClane’s corpse for a fifth “Die Hard” film (which was rumored).

An “Expendables” sequel seems inevitable, now that the movie opened to No. 1 at the domestic box with $34 million. What do you think? Do you want Sly chasing Bruce in a sequel? Also who from the original cast should return? And who should Stallone make room for in this ever-expanding universe?
