Jim Carrey to play Mr. Popper in ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’
HollywoodNews.com: Earlier this week we reported that Jim Carrey was looking to star in Mark Waters’ take on family novel “Mr. Popper’s Penguins.”
Well, now it appears as if his wish has become a reality as Carrey will play play Mr. Popper in the film which follows, “a New York City businessman whose life is turned upside down when he acquires six penguins in the mail,” according to Entertainment Weekly. The movie will have live-action and CG elements and will start shooting in the fall.
