How rich is ‘Jersey Shore’ star “The Situation”?

HollywoodNews.com: With the instant success of the ‘Jersey Shore,’ the main stars are making more money than most people would believe as they focus on growing their empires.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may make as much as $5 million this year thanks to his “MTV salary, endorsement deals, his own branded products and other media opportunities,” reports People. On top of his $60,000 per episode paycheck, he almost makes just as much to appear at various events.
Now, with the help of his manager, Mike Petolino of Gotham Entertainment, “The Situation” is working on building his brand with endorsement deals and TV and film opportunities.
