Eastwood, Kidman, De Niro lead list of expected TIFF attendees

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Bruce Springsteen is coming. Nicole Kidman will be there, as well. Hilary Swank, Bill Murray, Robert De Niro and Helen Mirren are expected. Clint Eastwood’s even going, and he hasn’t been there in 20 years.

We’re talking about the 35th Toronto International Film Festival, which released its official list of expected guests this morning. The full schedule is expected to be online today, as well, though at the moment the page doesn’t seem to be updating.

As for the celebrity guest list, the Toronto Star has a rundown. The overwhelming list of expected attendees includes billionaires (Bill Gates), up-and-coming talents (Kat Dennings, Chloe Moretz), and plenty of Oscar winners (Swank, Mirren, Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Kevin Spacey). They will be supporting a bevy of anticipated films.

It looks to be a stunning, star-studded TIFF. We can only hope the quality of each title lives up to the star power that will be lighting Toronto from within.
