Maria Bello, Stephen Dorff to arrest crowds in ‘Carjacked’

HollywoodNews.com: Maria Bello and Stephen Dorff will be generating some thrills in “Carjacked.”

The film follows Bello, as a single mother, who is taken hostage along with her child by a relentless bank robber.

Peter Medak, whose credits include such ‘90s cult fare “Romeo Is Bleeding” and “The Krays,” will be helming the film in Baton Rouge, La.

Cameras roll next month per Variety. The screenplay was written by Sherry and Michael Compton.

Bello recently appeared in Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups.” She recently wrapped “Abduction” opposite Taylor Lautner of “Twilight” fame.

Dorff appears next in Sofia Coppola’s “Somewhere” due out on December 22.
