Sandra Bullock to celebrate Hurricane Katrina success story
By Molly Sullivan
HollywoodNews.com: Now that Sandra Bullock feels more connected to New Orleans than ever because of her son, Louis, being born in the area, she’s going to help celebrate a recent Hurricane Katrina success story.
Bullock will be in New Orleans this weekend with Mayor Mitch Landrieu to help cut the ribbon for the new $700,000 health clinic she helped fund at Warren Easton Charter High School, reports People.
The historical public school reportedly suffered $4 million in damages as the result of Katrina, so Bullock has allegedly been donating funds to help with everything from marching band uniforms to reconstruction of the auditorium.
