Simon Cowell plans big changes for ‘X-Factor’

By Molly Sullivan

HollywoodNews.com: ‘The X-Factor’ has recently admitted to using Auto-Tune on contestants to adjust pitch and tone, but now Simon Cowell is going to make sure that this no longer happens.

Cowell is going to have the show remove all use of Auto-Tune because “[p]eople have got to be able to trust The X-Factor,” reports OMG!. The show admits that it does use Auto-Tune to provide the best experience for viewers, but the judges never critique the “corrected” versions.

Fans of the show recently complained about an episode being altered, which led to the problems. Cowell does not want to disrespect the fans so changes will be made immediately.
